Zonal Operation Manager Full Time

Job Title: Zonal Operations Head – Last Mile & Network Operations

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned operations leader to manage large-scale zonal logistics operations across West India. The role will be responsible for end-to-end execution of First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Reverse Logistics, and Delivery Network Operations while ensuring high service levels, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing high-volume e-commerce or express logistics operations with exposure to multi-site network management, delivery centers, vendor ecosystem, and large field teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead zonal operations across multiple delivery centers, hubs, and franchise locations
• Manage end-to-end First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Reverse Pickup, and Cross-Dock operations
• Drive operational KPIs including TAT, SLA adherence, delivery success rate, NDR, RTO, productivity, and customer experience metrics
• Handle large-scale shipment volumes and peak operations planning across the region
• Manage and optimize vendor, franchise, fleet, and rider partner ecosystem
• Ensure smooth coordination with internal stakeholders including linehaul, finance, HR, training, compliance, security, and analytics teams
• Drive process improvement, automation initiatives, SOP implementation, and operational governance
• Monitor operational costs, productivity metrics, and network utilization for continuous cost optimization
• Lead regional expansion, pincode serviceability improvement, and operational scalability projects
• Manage escalations and ensure high customer and client satisfaction
• Build and lead large field operations teams with strong focus on performance management and operational discipline

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 10–18 years of experience in e-commerce, express logistics, courier, or supply chain operations
• Strong exposure to zonal/regional operations management

Experience handling:

• 50+ delivery centers/hubs
• High shipment volumes
• Large field teams and vendor network
• Exposure to First Mile, Middle Mile, Last Mile, Reverse Logistics, and Delivery Operations
• Strong understanding of logistics KPIs, network planning, cost management, and operational excellence
