Role Summary

The Director – Program Management is responsible for leading large-scale, cross-functional programs across global teams, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives, operational excellence, and predictable delivery. This role requires strong leadership, governance expertise, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Program Leadership

• Lead and manage a portfolio of large, complex, multi-region programs
• Align program objectives with enterprise strategy and transformation goals
• Drive execution excellence across distributed teams

2. Global Delivery & Execution

• Ensure consistent delivery across onshore/offshore models
• Establish standardized delivery frameworks and best practices
• Manage interdependencies across multiple workstreams and business units

3. Governance & Reporting

• Define and implement robust governance structures
• Establish program KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting mechanisms
• Conduct steering committee reviews with senior leadership

4. Stakeholder & Client Management

• Build strong relationships with C-level stakeholders and global clients
• Act as a trusted advisor for strategic initiatives
• Provide transparent communication on risks, progress, and outcomes

5. Financial & Commercial Management

• Own P&L for programs, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Drive margin improvement and financial efficiency
• Support pre-sales, solutioning, and contract negotiations

6. Risk, Compliance & Quality

• Identify and mitigate program risks across geographies
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and organizational standards
• Drive quality assurance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement

7. Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead, mentor, and scale Program Management teams globally
• Build a high-performance culture with strong accountability
• Drive talent development, succession planning, and retention

8. Transformation & Innovation

• Drive digital transformation initiatives (cloud, data, AI, automation)
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in delivery models
• Leverage tools and analytics for enhanced decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / related field
• MBA or equivalent preferred
• 15–20 years of experience in IT delivery and program management
• Proven experience managing large programs
