Key Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for scaling the company and recruiting the right kind of people who will determine the course of the company over time
- Working on various job channels for hiring, such as campuses, buddy referrals, and job boards like Internshala, Naukri, IIM Jobs, etc., from where you’ve got to get leads according to the job profile
- Taking responsibility for talking to the candidates who applied, taking up their initial screening, processing it further to the other rounds of interviews, and finally closing the profile
- Conducting several brainstorming sessions a month where everyone’s inputs & feedback would be considered to come up with the HR strategy
- Working in a closely knit HR team, alongside some of the most experienced & talented HRs under the direct supervision of the co-founders
About Company: WeMakeScholars is a Hyderabad-based fintech startup specializing in education loans and scholarships. Established seven years ago, we collaborate closely with major banks and NBFCs in India, including SBI, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, to simplify the education loan application process for students and parents. While we do not directly provide loans, we ensure a seamless and hassle-free experience. As market leaders in the education finance segment, we currently partner with over 14 financial institutions, a number that continues to grow. Last year, we facilitated the disbursement of approximately 10,000 crore in student loans, and we anticipate even higher volumes this year.
