Senior Accountant – GST & TDS (Zoho / QuickBooks / Xero) (4 to 8 yrs) (WFH) 

Experience: 5–8 Years

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field 

Industry: IT / ITES / Software Services / SaaS

What We Are Looking For 

• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end bookkeeping for international service-based IT / ITES companies. 
• Proven experience using Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software. 
• Mandatory hands-on experience in export service invoice generation (foreign currency, zero-rated GST). 
• Strong working knowledge of GST compliance for export services (returns, reconciliation – no domestic GST sales). 
• Mandatory hands-on experience with TDS deduction, filing, and compliance. 
• Solid exposure to monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closures and journal entries. 

Responsibilities 

• Manage complete bookkeeping operations for international service transactions. 
• Create, manage, and maintain export service invoices (foreign currency invoicing, tax treatment, compliance). 
• Generate and manage export service invoices in compliance with GST and RBI guidelines. 
• Handle GST filings for export of services, including reconciliation and reporting. 
• Manage TDS calculations, deductions, filings, and related documentation. 
• Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. 
• Perform bank reconciliations, including foreign inward remittances. 
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. 
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for statutory compliance. 

Qualifications 

• 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience in international service-based IT / ITES companies. 
• Strong experience with Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or equivalent accounting tools. 
• Mandatory exposure to export of services accounting and GST zero-rated supplies. 
• Strong knowledge of TDS provisions applicable to service companies. 
• Practical understanding of journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet. 
• High attention to compliance, accuracy, and timelines. 
• Ability to independently manage accounting operations in a remote setup.
