Job Description for QC Manager
The Quality Control Manager has the primary responsibility of overseeing the QMS and quality assurance of Hiflo Solders .The role is constantly managing multiple priorities across the plant in any shift . There is a high degree of “ On the Job “ decision making skills that affects productivity ,quality ,safety and timely delivery. Should be well versed with Automotive core tools and IATF certification.
Reports to Operation Director
Essential Responsibilities
1. Process & Product audit – Check all indicators and specification within limits.
2. Maintain Quality Management System related documentation.
3. Handling customer audit / document requirements
4. Preparing RM specification Data
5. Maintaining samples with proper identification
6. Alloy composition testing in Spectrometer
7. Conduct quality control tests to ensure organization standards are being met
8. Implement efficient processes and standards.
9. Evaluate risk and lead quality assurance efforts.
10. Ensure all the quality process in line i.e Incoming raw material’s inspection & ensuring materials as per our requested specification, In-Process Inspection, Finished goods quality confirmation.
11. Getting things done from other departments in time related to ISO & IATF audits.
12. Incoming raw material inspection & ensuring materials as per our requested specification.
13. Evaluate all the SOP in a timely manner and revise & amend if necessary.
14. Troubleshoot issues of results inaccuracy, repeatability issues.
15. Train the Quality team up to the standard to maintain quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications
· M.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Tech – from Chemistry / Mechanical / Chemical Engg
· Knowledge in Electronic industry quality standards.
· Preferable 5 to 8 years in Quality testing /Control.
Compensation
Salary would be based on Industry standards & experience with incentives , earned leave and Insurance .
