JOB DESCRIPTION

Senior Supply Chain Analytics Specialist (Logistics Optimization & Process Mining)

Role Summary

This role drives continuous improvement across global logistics and distribution networks. The specialist will use analytical modelling, process mining, and predictive insights to optimize transportation flows, reduce distribution cost, and enhance operational transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process mining initiatives to map as‑is logistics processes, identify systemic inefficiencies, and design to‑be workflows.
• Develop optimization models for transportation planning, route optimization, network design, and freight cost benchmarking.
• Evaluate 3PL/4PL partner performance through data‑driven scorecards.
• Conduct scenario modelling for network expansion, warehouse relocation, and inventory positioning.
• Guide junior analysts and collaborate with digital transformation teams on automation and AI/ML initiatives.
• Ensure master data integrity across ERP, WMS, TMS, and planning systems.
• Drive the creation of executive dashboards for supply‑chain leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in supply chain analytics, logistics optimization, or industrial engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of process mining, operational excellence, and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Strong SQL and data modelling skills; experience with Python optimisation libraries is a plus.
• Deep understanding of warehousing, transportation management, distribution planning, and global logistics.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional improvement projects.

Professional Skills: Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and ownership mindset.

TCS Eligibility Criteria: *BE/B.tech/MCA/M.Sc./MS with minimum 3 years of relevant IT-experience post
