Role Overview:

We are urgently looking for a highly experienced Senior SQL Server DBA responsible for administration, performance optimization, high availability, backup/recovery, migration, and business continuity support of enterprise database environments.

This role requires a hands-on DBA who can independently manage critical production SQL environments and support incident resolution in a fast-paced enterprise setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day administration and management of Microsoft SQL Server databases
• Database backup, restore, recovery, patching, maintenance, and change control
• Troubleshoot production database issues and resolve service tickets/incidents
• Configure, install, test, migrate, and upgrade SQL Server instances across environments
• Performance monitoring, tuning, auditing, and capacity planning
• Implement and support High Availability / Disaster Recovery solutions
• Support database replication, clustering, Always On Availability Groups
• Work on Azure SQL automation, migration, and Managed Instances
• Coordinate with audit/security teams for compliance and governance
• Support occasional after-hours/weekend production needs

Mandatory Skills Required:

• 10+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
• Strong hands-on Microsoft SQL Server Administration
• Backup, Recovery, Performance Tuning, Maintenance Plans
• HA/DR expertise:
• Always On Availability Groups
• SQL Clustering
• Database Replication
• SQL Server Installation / Migration / Upgrades
• PowerShell scripting for automation
• Azure DBA exposure:
• Azure Automation
• Azure Migration
• Azure Managed Instances
• Production Incident Troubleshooting
• Agile / DevOps environment experience

Preferred / Nice to Have:

• Experience with tools like ServiceNow, SentryOne, Rubrik, Oracle
• Strong communication & client-facing troubleshooting skills
• Candidates open for long-term contract / contract to hire / full-time conversion preferred

Pay: ₹150,000.00 – ₹200,000.00 per month
