Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Area Sales Manager (ASM) role based in Bangalore. The ASM will be responsible for managing and enhancing relationships with distributors and retailers, meeting sales targets, and driving revenue growth within the designated territory. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, executing sales strategies, monitoring market trends, and ensuring the effective implementation of promotional campaigns. The role will also involve regular reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with company goals.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and business development skills, with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
- Experience in building and managing distributor and retailer relationships
- Analytical and market research skills to identify opportunities and track competitor activities
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in sales software and tools; familiarity with CRM systems is a plus
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in food FMCG sales is highly advantageous
