Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ayushman Bharat & CGHS Billing Executive to manage billing operations related to government healthcare schemes. The role requires accuracy, compliance with scheme guidelines, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely claim processing and reimbursement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle end-to-end billing processes for Ayushman Bharat (PMJAY) and CGHS schemes.
- Verify patient eligibility, documents, and treatment packages as per scheme guidelines.
- Prepare, submit, and track claims on respective portals within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for accurate billing inputs.
- Monitor claim status, follow up for approvals, and resolve discrepancies or rejections.
- Maintain proper records of billing, approvals, and claim submissions.
- Stay updated with changes in Ayushman Bharat and CGHS policies and packages.
- Assist in audits and provide required data or reports when needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Commerce, or related discipline preferred).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hospital billing, preferably in Ayushman Bharat and/or CGHS.
- Strong understanding of government healthcare schemes and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with billing software and online claim portals.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
