The Manager – Web Engineering & Digital Platforms is responsible for leading the development, delivery, and optimization of helix’s enterprise digital platforms. This role operates at the intersection of marketing, technology, and user experience, supporting the architecture, implementation, and performance of public‑facing digital properties.

Partnering closely with Marketing, Web Strategy, Brand, UX, Analytics, and IT teams, this role drives the execution and continuous improvement of brand websites, campaign platforms, blogs, and other owned digital assets, with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Experience Cloud at the core. The role ensures platforms are scalable, secure, high‑performing, and aligned with SEO and UX best practices.

In addition to execution, the role contributes to marketing technology initiatives, supports first‑party data enablement, and helps adopt emerging capabilities, including GenAI integrations. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, effective team leadership, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient digital solutions.

• Lead the development, enhancement, and delivery of enterprise digital platforms using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high‑performing AEM solutions aligned with enterprise standards
• Drive execution of digital initiatives, including brand websites, campaign platforms, and legacy site migrations to AEM
• Partner with Marketing, Brand, UX, Analytics, and IT teams to deliver business‑aligned digital experiences
• Ensure a consistent, high‑quality user experience across all digital touchpoints
• Oversee SEO best practices, Core Web Vitals, analytics tagging, and performance optimization
• Integrate AEM with CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and personalization platforms
• Support first‑party data initiatives and personalization use cases
• Ensure adherence to quality, security, compliance, and governance standards
• Lead, mentor, and manage cross‑functional teams (AEM, Front‑end, QA) and external vendors
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement, including the adoption of GenAI and emerging technologies
• Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Master’s degree (MBA / MS) preferred but not mandatory
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) certification (Developer or Architect) preferred
• Adobe Experience Cloud certifications (Analytics, Target, Campaign, CDP) are a plus
• AWS or DevOps certifications are an added advantage

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in AEM fundamentals: templates, components, dialogs, workflows, OSGi
• Solid understanding of Sling, JCR, and OSGi (R6/R7) architecture
• Experience with Multi‑Site Manager (MSM) for multi‑brand and multi‑region setups
• Proficiency in HTL (Sightly), Sling Models, Touch UI, Core Components
• Experience with Adobe Cloud Manager and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong front‑end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Astro/Tailwind is a plus)
• Experience with Adobe Analytics and Adobe Launch (or similar tools)
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, Core Web Vitals, and web performance
• Experience with API integrations (REST/GraphQL) and headless/hybrid CMS
• Basic understanding of AWS/Azure and web security best practices

Experience & Soft Skills

• 10–12+ years in digital engineering, enterprise web platforms, or MarTech
• 4–6+ years leading teams or managing complex digital programs
• Proven delivery of enterprise‑scale, customer‑facing websites
• Hands‑on experience with AEM implementations, enhancements, and migrations
• Experience with AEM 6.2 or newer versions
• Strong collaboration with cross‑functional and business teams
• Experience managing vendors or external agencies is a plus
