Job Description

The Google Cloud team at Endava is dedicated to assisting companies in transforming their product delivery through modern cloud solutions. We are seeking an accomplished technologist to join our multi-cloud Infrastructure and Delivery Unit, with a primary focus on designing and delivering large-scale Google Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects for key accounts.

This role offers a unique opportunity to act as a Google Cloud infrastructure subject matter expert, providing strategic technical guidance on solutions design, operations, security, governance, and cost control best practices. Your expertise will be crucial in significantly impacting the continued growth of our GCP capability across the Asia Pacific region

Key Responsibilities:

• Landing Zone Design & Implementation:
  Working with customers to design and build secure, compliant foundational cloud implementations and landing zones on Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
  Leading the design and implementation of automated provisioning for infrastructure and applications using Terraform.
• Cloud Architecture Modernization:
  Designing and implementing cloud-ready application architectures and presenting comprehensive Infrastructure modernization strategies to C-level executives.
• Observability and SRE Practices:
  Driving improvements to monitoring, logging, and observability within client environments, utilizing native GCP tools like Cloud Monitoring (Operations Suite) and Cloud Logging.
• Governance and Deployment Standards:
  Defining and implementing robust cloud infrastructure governance and building scalable, secure deployment standards across GCP projects.
• Cloud Operations and Optimization:
  Delivering end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions , including capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimizing cost control.
• Disaster Recovery & Migration:
  Designing and implementing Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and assisting with data center exit strategies and migrations.
• Collaboration:
  Providing Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation , and working cross-functionally with the delivery management team.

Qualifications

• Google Cloud Expertise (Mandatory):
  Google Cloud certification is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience using its suite of tools.
• Infrastructure as Code:
  Expert, hands-on development experience with Terraform.
• Google Cloud Frameworks:
  Direct experience using Google’s Cloud Foundation Toolkit for implementing landing zones.
• Core Infrastructure:
  Experience with fundamental concepts of virtualization, including servers, storage, and networks.
• Cloud Operations Experience:
  Practical experience with infrastructure-based processes such as Monitoring, Capacity planning, Performance tuning, and Disaster Recovery.
• Migration Experience:
  Proven experience with data centre exit strategies and execution.
