Job Description Position: Technology Intern (6 Months) Location: FCI, Bangalore (Hybrid/Onsite depending on team) Department: Technology / Software Engg / Infrastructure Engg Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Intern to join our banking technology team for a 6-month internship. The intern will gain hands-on experience working on real-world financial systems, infrastructure, and digital platforms supporting global banking operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in development, testing, and deployment of software applications.
- Support infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and support incident resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, risk, and operations.
- Work on automation, monitoring, and performance optimization tasks.
- Contribute to cybersecurity and compliance-related initiatives. Learning Opportunities:
- Exposure to banking systems, payments, and financial markets.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Understanding DevOps, SRE, and CI/CD practices.
- Mentorship from senior engineers and technology leaders.
- Participation in innovation and hackathon programs.
- Exposure to Bank’s Data Engineering and AI adoption journey Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding data structures and algorithms.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to cloud technologies and APIs.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
- Interest in financial services or banking domain. Internal Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
