Raw Supervisor Full Time NEW

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating raw produce storage operations within large-scale agricultural storage facilities. You will oversee the intake, handling, and preservation of potatoes and other vegetables, ensuring they are managed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with environmental and operational standards. The position combines hands-on operational leadership with planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement responsibilities. You will manage a team, ensure smooth day-to-day storage activities, and maintain high standards of quality, safety, and cost control. In addition, you will contribute to facility maintenance, capital projects, and process optimization initiatives. This is a field-intensive leadership role with strong exposure to agricultural operations and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic farm-to-table supply chain environment.

Accountabilities

• Develop and execute storage and intake plans for potatoes and other vegetables, ensuring alignment with safety, environmental, and cost objectives.
• Lead and supervise storage operations teams, ensuring efficient daily execution and adherence to operational standards.
• Monitor storage conditions, analyze performance data, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness of storage facilities and equipment.
• Support and contribute to capital projects and infrastructure improvements.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure safe and effective performance of duties.
• Develop, maintain, and enforce standard operating procedures and compliance practices.
• Support research and development initiatives related to storage optimization and production programs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support operational excellence.

Requirements

• Technical or vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of experience in agricultural operations, storage management, or a related field.
• Strong leadership experience managing operational teams in a production or storage environment.
• Solid understanding of storage systems, facility operations, and quality control processes.
• Ability to analyze operational data and drive process improvements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and team development skills.
• Ability to work in field-based environments and manage physically demanding operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% as required by operational needs.
