QA Test Lead Full Time

About Position:

The Offshore Test Lead will lead offshore QA execution, automation support, and test documentation for the Vision Platform Consolidation (VPC), a large-scale healthcare platform migration. This role is responsible for hands on test execution, automation participation, module level test plan creation, and strong data validation using SQL, while ensuring full alignment with the approved VPC Test Strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• Test Execution & Team Leadership
• Lead day to day offshore QA execution across VPC test phases (SIT, integration testing, regression)
• Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure quality output from offshore testers
• Ensure adherence to VPC test strategy, scope, and entry/exit criteria
• Automation Support (Hands On)
• Actively participate in test automation execution and maintenance
• Support automation efforts using AccelQ or similar tools under onshore QA guidance
• Identify suitable test cases for automation at the module and regression level
• Coordinate automated test execution during regression and stabilization cycles
• Test Plan & Documentation Ownership
• Create and maintain module level test plans aligned to the master VPC test strategy
• Ensure test scenarios, test cases, and coverage are clearly documented and traceable
• Support RTM updates and test coverage reporting
• Data Validation & SQL Analysis
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis using SQL
• Validate migration results, batch processing outcomes, and parallel test results
• Provide data evidence to support defect triage and root cause analysis
• Defect & Status Management
• Ensure high quality defect logging with clear reproduction steps and data proof
• Support defect triage calls with analysis and recommendations
• Provide daily and weekly status reporting to onshore QA leadership
• Ensure compliance with PHI and offshore testing constraints

Expertise You’ll Bring:

• 6+years of QA / Testing experience with 2+ years as a Test Lead.
• Proven experience leading offshore QA teams in enterprise programs.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools (AccelQ or similar).
• Strong SQL expertise for data validation, reconciliation, and defect analysis.
• Experience creating test plans and test strategy artifacts at module level.
• Strong healthcare domain knowledge (claims processing preferred).
• Experience with test and defect management tools (Rally or Jira).
• Excellent communication skills for onshore–offshore coordination.
• Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting large migration or platform consolidation programs
• Knowledge of EDI transactions (837 / 834)
• Exposure to parallel testing, batch processing, and data migration
• Experience working with vendor or COTS platforms
