Global Delivery Services refers to EY’s worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.
Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80,000+ professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina, China, Hungary, India, Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Mexico, Spain and the United Kingdom.
Client service is focused on providing Consulting, Assurance, Tax, Strategy & Transactions, and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless, high-quality, value-added support, helping deliver exceptional client service.
Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.
Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience to build and evolve scalable, high-performance, data-driven applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across frontend and backend systems, while contributing to cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, and modern AI-enabled features.
You will play a key role in designing robust, scalable systems and making architectural decisions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
In addition, you will work on financial risk and regulatory systems, with exposure to domains such as Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, and regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., CCAR). This provides a unique opportunity to build technological solutions that directly support risk management, compliance, and enterprise decision-making
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable applications using React, TypeScript, Storybook
- Drive frontend architecture decisions, including:
- Component design patterns
- State management strategy
- Data fetching and caching
- Performance optimization (rendering, memoization, virtualization)
- Build reusable UI systems and maintain consistency across applications
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Integrate with backend services and APIs
- Contribute to backend development (Node.js / Python / Java as needed)
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure / AWS / GCP
- Work with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
- Understand build optimization, environment management, and release workflows
Skills And Attributes For Success
- Experience in Credit Risk domain, including exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks such as CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review)
- Strong frontend-first thinking with the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, performant user interfaces
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, including component design, state management, and data flow
- Ability to optimize performance for large datasets, API-heavy applications, and complex UI interactions
- Strong problem-solving mindset, especially in debugging UI issues and performance bottlenecks
- Ability to collaborate effectively with backend teams and influence API design for better UI performance
- Experience in working with evolving requirements and ambiguous problem statements
