• Proven experience as a Linux Engineer or similar role.

• SUSE manager configuration and maintenance.

• Deep understanding of Linux operating systems, especially SLES and RHEL, including system installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting on the following areas: OS, Kernel, Storage (LVM, local and networked attached), HA/Clustering (Pacemaker cluster configuration), Backups and Network protocols.

• Good understanding of Storage integration (SAN, NAS)

• Experience with Linux servers in virtualized (Cloud, Hyper-V and VMWare) and physical environments.

• Experience in Linux Active Directory Integration and Authentication

• Familiar with SAP operations, including system monitoring, updates, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with Linux administration in cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure and AWS services and resources.

• Certifications like SUSE Certified Deployment Specialist (SCDS), SCE in SLES for SAP Applications 15, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC) are a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
