We’re Hiring: Data Science & AI Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Data Science & AI Teaching Assistant (TA) to support instructors throughout our Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Bootcamp. The TA will play a key role in guiding learners through core concepts, hands-on coding exercises, and real-world projects in data analysis, machine learning, and AI applications.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in data science who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and supporting learners in a fast-paced, practical learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support instructors during live online sessions, coding labs, and workshops
• Assist participants with technical questions related to Python, data analysis, and machine learning
• Provide guidance on hands-on projects, including data cleaning, visualization, and model building
• Help participants debug code, troubleshoot errors, and understand key concepts
• Review participant work and provide constructive, actionable feedback
• Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with instructors and academic staff to ensure a smooth learning experience

Requirements

• Fluent English (spoken and written) — required
• Background in Data Science, Computer Science, AI, Statistics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib/Seaborn)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of machine learning (e.g., regression, classification, clustering)
• Familiarity with tools such as Jupyter Notebook and/or Google Colab
• Understanding of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced bootcamp setting
• Prior teaching, mentoring, tutoring, or TA experience is a strong plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch)
• Knowledge of SQL and data querying
• Experience with real-world datasets or industry projects
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with bootcamps or intensive training programs
