Job Title: Textbook Sales Representative – Schools

Position Summary:
We are seeking professional and result-driven candidates with strong relationships in the reputed schools/chain of schools across the country for our teaching and learning resources like text-books, educational games, AI driven school solutions, merchandise and benchmark assessments .
This role is responsible for promoting and selling educational textbooks and other products to schools through direct approach and channel partners in the defined territory.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the education sector, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain strategic relationships with school administrators, curriculum coordinators, and educators.
· Present and promote textbook offerings and digital learning solutions to K–12 institutions.
· Build new channel partners and establish a strong distribution network.
· Conduct on-site and virtual sales presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions.
· Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, and customer service) to address client needs and support sales objectives.
· Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and performance metrics within
designated territories.
· Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and
challenges.
· Participate in educational conferences, trade shows, and relevant networking events.
· Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activity, and account status using CRM software.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Graduate in any discipline with a degree in business management is desirable but not essential
· Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in educational publishing
· Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
· Familiarity with curriculum standards, adoption cycles, and school procurement
processes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office
· Willingness to travel within assigned territory as needed.
