What makes the role meaty?

We are seeking a qualified Vendor QA Executive to oversee the overall quality and food safety compliance in the supply chain. As a VQA Executive, you will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and verifying overall food safety and quality. Additionally, you will oversee worker training at vendor sites and address quality complaints. You will also be responsible for ensuring appropriate communication processes between the supply chain and vendor.

Role & Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with company requirements to ensure implementation of quality, safety, and hygiene standards at vendor site.
• Selection of Live animals as per laid down specifications for Goat and lamb.
• Clearance of FG as per laid down specifications at vendor site in accordance with indent.
• Training sessions at vendor sites to streamline the activity of slaughtering and processing.
• Exhibit business maturity in handling confidential information.
• To troubleshoot problems, analyze data, report metrics, and determine root causes of issues. (RCA & CAPA)
• Reduce customer complaints and improve product rating by implementing proper systems and standards in the red meat category with respect to sourcing.
• Involve in new projects for improving product quality and product rating.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in food science.
• 0-1 years of experience in QA/QC in food industry
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate in Hindi, Kannada.
