What You’ll Do

As a Full Stack Developer, you will hands-on design, build, and operate the applications, APIs, and automations that extend BCG’s Digital Collaboration platforms. You will own meaningful slices of delivery end-to-end — from requirements through production support — contribute to architectural discussions, and partner closely with senior engineers, platform teams, and product owners to deliver reliable, well-tested solutions that the business depends on.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of experience in full stack software engineering, with a track record of delivering production applications and APIs end-to-end.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET / C# (.NET Core) and REST API design, including authentication, error handling, and integration patterns.
• Solid front-end experience with React or Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Practical, demonstrable experience with Microsoft Graph, Entra ID, and M365 collaboration APIs (Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Groups).
• Working experience integrating with the Slack Web API or comparable collaboration / SaaS APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS — at minimum CloudFormation and core compute / serverless services; equivalent experience in Azure is a plus.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in PowerShell and/or Python for operational tooling.
• Solid grasp of SQL and relational data modeling; familiarity with NoSQL is a plus.
• Disciplined CI/CD, Git workflows, code review, and automated testing practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; able to document, explain, and defend technical decisions to a mixed audience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) is a plus, but not the focus of this role.

Who You’ll Work With

You will sit within the Digital Collaboration & Software Engineering chapter, partnering daily with senior engineers, product owners, platform engineers, and business stakeholders across multiple geographies. You will collaborate closely with the Identity, Microsoft 365, and Slack platform teams, with direct exposure to the systems and tooling used by BCG’s global workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full stack applications and REST APIs in .NET / C# (.NET Core) that extend BCG’s collaboration platforms — for example, administration, governance, and reporting services for Slack, Microsoft 365, and Teams.
• Develop responsive front-end interfaces using React or Angular, integrated with internal authentication and BCG design standards.
• Integrate with collaboration platform APIs (Microsoft Graph, Slack Web API, Teams) to enable secure administration, governance workflows, and operational telemetry.
• Build and maintain operational automation in PowerShell and Python, and infrastructure-as-code on AWS using CloudFormation (and adjacent tooling such as Lambda and serverless components).
• Translate business and operational requirements into clean technical designs that consider scalability, security, observability, and maintainability.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows; drive code quality through reviews, automated tests, and disciplined branching and release practices.
• Contribute to repository governance — dependency hygiene, security alerts triage, and decommissioning of legacy assets.
• Manage production support for the services you build: triage incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and ship durable fixes with clear write-ups.
• Author technical documentation, runbooks, and KT material so peers and partner teams can confidently operate and extend the solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies; contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement of team engineering practices.
