This is a core back-office role focused on the financial record-keeping of a company or a banking unit.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: Recording daily financial transactions in software like Tally Prime or SAP.
- Reconciliation: Matching bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
- Taxation: Preparing data for GST filing, TDS, and Income Tax returns.
- Reporting: Preparing Balance Sheets and Profit Loss statements.
- Experience Requirements:
- Freshers (0-1 year): B.Com or M.Com degree. Basic certification in Tally is usually mandatory.
- Junior (1-3 years): Practical experience in GST filing and audit preparation.
- Senior (5+ years): Finalization of accounts and handling complete financial audits for a company.
- Salary Range:
- Fresher: 1.8 Lakhs – 3 Lakhs per year.
- Experienced: 4 Lakhs – 8 Lakhs per year.
