Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Video QA Automation Engineer for a contract opportunity for our Corporate Clients. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in software testing, video delivery platforms, STB/CPE testing, Python automation, and frontend technologies.

This role involves validating and supporting video client test systems, automation frameworks, and streaming platform testing for IPTV/OTT environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform QA and development testing for video delivery and streaming platforms
• Create, execute, and maintain detailed test plans and test cases
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python
• Support development, compilation, and integration activities for test systems
• Validate IPTV/OTT video workflows and playback functionality
• Perform STB/CPE device testing and troubleshooting
• Work with frontend technologies and JavaScript frameworks for UI validation
• Support containerized testing environments using Docker or related technologies
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve issues
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Software Testing and QA Automation
• Hands-on experience with Python scripting and automation
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans and test cases
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks and frontend testing
• Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
• Hands-on experience in STB/CPE testing
• Understanding of IPTV / OTT / Video Streaming workflows
• Good understanding of video playback and streaming concepts
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience with HLS and MPEG-DASH streaming
• Knowledge of video delivery systems and OTT platforms
• Experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Linux environments and debugging tools
• Experience with Selenium or UI automation tools
