We’re Hiring: Cold Forging PPC Manager

Balaji Piping Products Limited is looking for an experienced PPC Manager – Cold Forging to lead production planning, optimize resource utilization, and ensure timely delivery of forged components while maintaining efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and monitor cold forging production activities to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Develop production plans based on order priorities, machine capacity, tooling availability, and manpower.
• Coordinate closely with forging, tool room, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure optimal utilization of hydraulic presses, dies, and tooling to minimize downtime and increase productivity.
• Track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inventory of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Monitor and improve key metrics such as rejection rates, tool life, cycle time, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
• Lead root cause analysis for production delays, dimensional variations, and inconsistencies in forged output.
• Ensure proper documentation of production reports, planning data, and MIS reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in planning accuracy, throughput, and cost efficiency.

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Metallurgical Engineering or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in cold forging or fastener/forged component manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of cold forging processes, press operations, and tooling lifecycle.
• Experience working with hydraulic presses (preferably 200T–650T range) and high-volume production environments.
• Proficiency in production planning tools and Excel-based MIS tracking.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and handle production pressure effectively.
