About the Role
We are hiring a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5+ years of hands-on accounting experience supporting U.S.-based companies, with the majority – preferably all – of their experience focused on U.S. accounting operations and U.S. GAAP environments.
This role requires someone who is strong in core accounting operations including Revenue Recognition (ASC 606), Account Reconciliations, Accounts Payable (AP), month-end close, accruals, journal entries, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in ERP systems, accounting automation, and finance system integrations including QuickBooks, SAP, SAP Concur, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
We are specifically looking for candidates who have participated in ERP implementation, accounting workflow automation, finance system integration, migration, or process transformation projects from early/setup stages, not just day-to-day transactional usage.
Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have)
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
- Majority or entire experience must be within:
- U.S.-based companies
- U.S. accounting environments
- U.S. GAAP-driven accounting processes
- Strong understanding of:
- U.S. GAAP
- ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
- Accounting workflows and controls
- Month-end and year-end close processes
- Financial reporting structures
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Journal entries
- Prepaids & accruals
- Experience working with:
- QuickBooks
- SAP / NetSuite / ERP systems
- SAP Concur or similar expense management platforms
- Experience supporting:
- Accounting system integrations
- Banking integrations
- ERP implementation or migration projects
- Accounting automation initiatives
- Finance workflow/process improvements
- Ability to understand how accounting systems connect operationally from initial setup through integration and reporting
- Comfortable working in structured, review-driven accounting environments
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition (ASC 606)
- Manage revenue recognition processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ASC 606
- Maintain deferred revenue schedules and supporting documentation
- Review billing and revenue accuracy
- Support monthly revenue close activities
Account Reconciliations
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate discrepancies and resolve unsupported balances
- Maintain accurate reconciliation schedules and audit-ready records
- Ensure financial data integrity across systems
Accounts Payable (AP) & Expense Management
- Manage AP processes including invoice review, coding, and payment tracking
- Handle employee expense workflows through SAP Concur or similar platforms
- Support vendor management and AP reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with internal accounting controls and approval workflows
ERP Systems, Integrations & Automation
- Work with QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, and integrated accounting systems
- Support ERP implementation, migration, and finance transformation projects
- Assist with banking, expense management, and workflow integrations
- Identify opportunities to automate manual accounting processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting operations and system efficiency
- Understand accounting data flow between ERP, banking, expense, and reporting systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SaaS, subscription-based, or technology-driven businesses
- Exposure to Stripe, Shopify, or integrated payment ecosystems
- Prior experience with finance automation initiatives
- Understanding of system-driven accounting environments and process scalability

Work Schedule
- U.S. EST working hours required
- India Shift: 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST
- All interviews, interview coordination, scheduling, and communication will be conducted in U.S. EST time zones
