GITAM, Bengaluru Campus is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor for the below mentioned departments in the School of Business. We are looking for passionate academicians and researchers who can contribute to teaching excellence, impactful research, curriculum development, and student mentoring.

Education & Experience

• Ph.D. from an accredited university in the relevant discipline is Mandatory
• Candidates should possess teaching, research, or industry experience relevant to their specialization.
• Strong academic background with demonstrated research potential, publications, and commitment to student development.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum design, classroom engagement, academic mentoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

1. Operations

• Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Project Management, International Service Management, Business Process Management, or Management Science.
• Ability to design and deliver engaging and industry-relevant learning experiences.
• Mentor students and support academic counselling activities.
• Contribute to research initiatives, publications, and curriculum development.
• Continuously update course content in line with industry practices and emerging trends.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and academic leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively with colleagues on research and co-curricular activities.

2. Finance

• Expertise in Auditing, Budget Analysis, Financial Accounting, International Accounting, and Forensic Accounting.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop innovative teaching methodologies and classroom engagement techniques.
• Mentor students and support academic and career development initiatives.
• Contribute to research publications and scholarly activities.
• Ensure academic quality and compliance with university standards.
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.

3. Information Systems

• Expertise in Business Analytics, Data Analysis, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related domains.
• Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, SAS, MATLAB, or similar analytical tools.
• Ability to create industry-relevant and application-oriented course content.
• Experience with data-driven research and applied analytics projects.
• Familiarity with emerging trends in analytics and business intelligence.
• Ability to collaborate with industry partners and contribute to interdisciplinary research.
• Strong mentoring, communication, and problem-solving skills.

4. Marketing

• Strong knowledge of marketing concepts, market trends, and consumer behaviour.
