The Regional Head – Dairy Operations plays a pivotal role in driving end-to-end efficiency, quality, and compliance across the Maharashtra region’s dairy production network. Reporting to senior leadership, this position oversees multiple dairy packing stations and co-packing units, ensuring seamless operations from milk intake to final product dispatch.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- ⚙️ Oversee end-to-end dairy operations across multiple locations
- 🏭 Manage packing stations & co-packing units efficiently
- 📦 Ensure smooth milk procurement, processing & dispatch
- 👥 Lead and develop high-performing cross-functional teams
- 📊 Drive capacity optimization & operational efficiency
- 💰 Ensure cost control, budget adherence & energy efficiency
- 🧼 Maintain strict hygiene, quality & food safety standards
- ⚠️ Ensure compliance with statutory & regulatory requirements (FSSAI, etc.)
- 🔄 Drive continuous improvement initiatives
🎯 Key Requirements
- 🥛 Must have strong Dairy Industry experience (essential)
- 🌍 Experience in handling regional/multi-location operations
- 🗣️ Proficiency in Marathi language (mandatory)
- 📈 Strong leadership, team management & problem-solving skills
- 🧾 Knowledge of regulatory compliance & food safety standards
- ⚙️ Expertise in plant operations, maintenance & supply chain
