Accountabilities

• Support global software license compliance by monitoring software usage, tracking entitlements, and identifying licensing variances across systems and tools.
• Administer Software Asset Management (SAM) tools and maintain accurate licensing databases, including uploading contracts, entitlements, and usage data.
• Review and assess software requests from business users, ensuring alignment with company standards and licensing availability.
• Challenge and validate business justifications for software needs, proposing optimized or cost-effective licensing alternatives.
• Partner with IT and business teams globally to monitor software installations, subscriptions, and compliance status.
• Support software audits, clean-up activities, and remediation of non-compliant usage or installations.
• Contribute to compliance reporting, dashboards, and analytics shared with stakeholders worldwide.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SAM processes, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred but not required).
• No prior professional experience required; internships or academic exposure is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of software licensing concepts and IT asset management principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to track, validate, and manage structured data accurately.
