Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Ahmedabad for a Research and Development Technologist. The role involves conducting research activities to introduce and develop new chemical products and improve existing processes. Daily responsibilities include consistent coordination with management of the company to suggest new products, research and develop these products and working collaboratively to identify innovative solutions. The position also includes responsibility of scale up from lab scale to commercial production. The candidate will ensure product quality and optimize production methods in alignment with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry with focus on research.
- Experience in Research and Development (R&D) with a focus on chemicals. Experience in continuous catalytic conversion and/or catalysts is preferred.
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills such as conducting experiments and analyzing results
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Keenness to develop markets for existing product.
- Technology transfer and sourcing of technology.
- Masters or higher degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Keenness for continuous improvement of current commercial processes.
