Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive – Accounts to manage and oversee end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, and payment processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical abilities, sound knowledge of accounting principles, and hands-on experience in managing financial records with accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires a proactive professional who can independently handle accounting finalization, taxation compliances, MIS reporting, vendor and salary payments, inventory monitoring, and support management with financial insights for business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
• Verify payments, monitor reconciliations, and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, ledgers, journals, and accounting entries.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Handle accounting activities up to finalization of books of accounts.
• Prepare financial statements and supporting working papers on a real-time basis.
• Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules

Statutory Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other regulatory filings.
• Handle statutory payments and filing processes efficiently.
• Assist during tax audits and preparation of tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

Payment & Banking Operations

• Manage online payments, vendor payments, and salary processing.
• Handle CC accounts and related compliances.
• Monitor expense management and maintain internal financial controls.

Reporting & Budgeting

• Prepare monthly MIS reports and present key review points to management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support management with accurate financial data and analytical insights.

Inventory & Team Coordination

• Monitor and manage inventory accounting and reconciliations.
• Supervise accounting staff and ensure smooth workflow within the department.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for financial requirements.

Software & Technical Skills

Strong working knowledge of:

• Tally
• Zoho Books / Zoho Accounting Software
• Advance MS Excel, Word, Power Point
• TDS, ITR filling related software and financial reporting tools

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
• Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, statutory compliance, and bookkeeping.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
