Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Biller based in Karnataka, India. The Medical Biller will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the accuracy of medical records, coding diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10, and billing insurance companies, including Medicare. The role also involves managing claim denials, addressing billing discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations while ensuring timely processing of claims to maximize reimbursements.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology and basic healthcare concepts
- Proficiency in identifying and resolving Denials within the medical billing and coding process
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10 medical coding standards
- Experience with Insurance processes, including billing and claims submissions
- Understanding of Medicare policies and requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
- Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma or equivalent; a certification in medical billing or coding is preferred
