Role Overview
GMS Worldwide Express Pvt. Ltd. is looking for young, energetic, and highly communicative supply-chain graduates
who are willing to build their career in warehousing, logistics, and client operations.
This role is designed for freshers or early-career candidates from a supply chain, logistics, operations, or business
management background. The selected candidate will be trained in warehouse operations, inventory control, inbound
and outbound processes, WMS usage, client coordination, MIS reporting, and day-to-day operational monitoring.
The candidate will not be expected to perform manual pick-and-pack work. However, the candidate must be willing to
work from the warehouse floor, monitor activities closely, coordinate with internal teams, ensure process discipline,
and communicate professionally with clients and management.
This role is ideal for candidates who want to grow into future warehouse managers, assistant managers, key account
operations executives, or supply chain operations leaders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations Monitoring
Monitor day-to-day warehouse activities including inbound, stocking, inventory movement, order processing, picking,
packing, dispatch, returns, and coordination with transport teams.
Ensure that warehouse activities are carried out as per defined SOPs, client requirements, and internal process
standards.
Coordinate with warehouse in-charges, supervisors, DEOs, pickers, packers, and transport teams to ensure smooth
operational flow.
Track whether daily tasks are completed on time and highlight delays or process gaps to the reporting manager.
2. Inventory & WMS Coordination
Monitor inventory accuracy in the warehouse and system.
Support the team in ensuring correct scanning, binning, stock updates, serial number tracking, condition-based
inventory handling, and timely WMS updates.
Coordinate with the WMS/data entry team to ensure that all inbound, outbound, and inventory movements are
updated correctly.
Highlight mismatches, short or excess stock, damages, wrong entries, ageing inventory, pending updates, or any stock
discrepancies to the reporting manager.
3. Client Coordination & Communication
Act as a coordination point between the warehouse team, internal management, and client-facing teams.
Communicate professionally over email and calls with internal stakeholders and, wherever required, client teams.
Prepare clear updates on warehouse status, pending activities, dispatches, inventory issues, escalations, and
operational challenges.
Since GMS handles international clients, especially UK-based and France-based clients, excellent English
communication is a mandatory requirement.
4. MIS, Reporting & Follow-Up
Prepare and share daily/weekly operational reports as per internal and client requirements.
Track inbound, outbound, pending orders, inventory discrepancies, dispatch status, pickup status, delivery
coordination, and ageing cases.
Follow up with internal teams to close pending tasks and maintain proper documentation and reporting discipline.
Support the reporting manager with accurate data, clear summaries, and timely escalation points.
5. Process Improvement & Escalation
Identify operational gaps and report them to management.
Support in improving warehouse workflows, documentation, reporting formats, and accountability.
Escalate delays, stock mismatches, manpower issues, process deviations, documentation issues, or client-impacting
matters on time.
Observe day-to-day warehouse functioning and suggest practical improvements wherever possible.
6. Learning & Development
Undergo training in GMS warehouse operations, client-specific SOPs, WMS usage, inventory handling, transport
coordination, and reporting.
Develop into a future warehouse operations leader, assistant manager, or key account operations executive.
Learn warehouse operations from the ground level while building strong communication, reporting, and client
coordination skills.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree / MBA / diploma in any of the following preferred:
Freshers can apply. Candidates with 0-1 year of internship or work experience in logistics, warehousing, supply chain,
e-commerce, distribution, or operations will be preferred.
Mandatory Skills
Important Note
This is a warehouse-based operations role, not a desk-only office role.
The candidate must be comfortable working from the warehouse floor, monitoring live operations, coordinating with
multiple teams, and ensuring that activities are completed properly.
The candidate will not be required to do manual loading, unloading, or pick-and-pack work, but must be actively
involved in supervising, checking, coordinating, and reporting warehouse activities.
Preferred Personality
Compensation
Salary range: Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 35,000 take-home per month, depending on communication skills, educational
background, and interview performance.
Exceptional candidates may be considered more at the time of discussion.
Growth path will be available based on performance, learning ability, ownership, and client-handling capability.

The selected candidate will initially be trained as a Management Trainee / Executive in Warehouse & Client Operations.
