Solutions Architect- IT Infrastructure Applications Full Time

Job Purpose:

To drive both Project delivery and day-to-day operations for Infrastructure Applications covering Mail & Messaging, Identity, Endpoint, and Collaboration services, ensuring high availability (24×7×365), operational stability, SLA compliance, and continuous improvement.

The role combines operational ownership with project and transformation leadership, driving modernization initiatives including automation, AI-driven operations (AIOps), lifecycle management, and service optimization while ensuring security, governance, and business continuity.

Job Context:

Infrastructure applications such as Mail & Messaging, Identity, and Endpoint services form the foundation for enterprise productivity, security, and digital collaboration. These platforms directly impact business continuity, employee experience, and cyber risk posture.

This role operates in a large-scale hybrid IT environment with high dependency across businesses, users, devices, and external ecosystems. The position is expected to lead transformation programs by introducing automation, AI‑based monitoring, self‑healing mechanisms, and process optimization, while maintaining security baselines and governance.

Key challenges include:

• Balancing operational excellence and resilience with continuous project-driven transformation
• Applying cross‑domain knowledge of Mail & Messaging, AD, SCCM and Access management to complex initiatives
• Reducing operational risk through standardization, documentation, and automation
• Driving adoption of automation, AIOps, and self-healing mechanisms without service disruption
• Balancing platform stability with continuous transformation and scale

Enabling seamless collaboration across business, operations, security, and vendors

Principal Accountabilities & Supporting Actions

A. Project & Program Management

• Lead end-to-end delivery of infra app projects across Mail, Messaging, Identity & Endpoint
• Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication
• Drive technical (upgrades, integrations, tooling) & non-technical (process, governance, adoption) initiatives
• Ensure structured transition from project to steady-state operations

B. Cross-Domain Infrastructure Capability

• Provide functional/architectural inputs for:
• Exchange (On-Prem, O365), AD, IAM, PAM, SCCM, Intune
• Participate in ops reviews, escalations & service improvement
• Ensure continuity, resilience & scalability of infra services

C. Operational Resilience (Automation & AI)

• Identify automation/orchestration/self-healing opportunities
• Work with OEMs & internal teams on AIOps & automation platforms
• Track improvements in availability, response time, effort & UX

D. Solution Design & Standardization

• Evaluate emerging infra tech aligned to business needs
• Conduct feasibility studies, POCs, techno-commercial comparisons
• Define solution patterns, design principles & best practices
• Ensure designs are repeatable, documented & transferable
• Reduce tacit dependency via structured governance & artifacts

E. Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure process adherence & audit readiness
• Build sustainable infra services beyond individual dependencies

F. Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Manage cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive vendor performance, SLA reviews & continuous improvement
• Handle escalations & service satisfaction reporting
