With a focus on community, Mezame caters to both individual consumers and provides B2B bulk options for HoReCa partners, shipping across India through e-commerce platforms, quick-commerce platforms and modern retail channels.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Bangalore for the position of Founder’s Office – Operations. The Operations Associate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Mezame’s day-to-day business operations run smoothly, collaborating closely with the founder to execute strategic operations initiatives. Responsibilities include streamlining and improving processes, overseeing inventory and supply chain management, coordinating with vendors, analyzing sales performance, and supporting cross-functional projects across marketing, sales, and operations. The role provides the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work at the intersection of strategy and execution with a small fast-growing startup.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory planning, demand planning, and demand sensing
• End-to-end warehouse management
• Vendor onboarding, coordination, and management
• Omni-channel order execution across platforms
• Managing dispatches and resolving delivery delays
• Day-to-day operational problem-solving and firefighting
• Ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance
• B2B customer acquisition and account management

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in DTC, FMCG, or consumer brands
• Strong operational mindset with a bias towards execution
• Calm under pressure and comfortable with chaos
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Has experienced failure and learned from it
• Can work independently without constant supervision

Bonus if you have experience with:

• Shopify
• Courier aggregator platforms
• Warehouse operations
• Logistics management

This Role is NOT for you if:

• You need constant guidance and handholding
• You prefer strategy discussions over on-ground execution
• You struggle under pressure or in unstructured environments
• You find it difficult to solve problems without a playbook
