Full job description
As an IT Operations Administrator in the IT Operations team, you will effectively monitor and manage the availability and performance of IT infrastructure and resources, such as server, network, storage and application resources. This is done by executing pre-planned tasks based on instructions.
To ensure that we in the IT Operations Center always have sufficient views of the systems and can act in the event of malfunctions, you will support us in the constant exchange with other IT teams, the creation of documents and reports.
Work you’ll do
As an Associate Services Specialist I, IT Services on the IT Operations team, you will be responsible for:
- Monitor IT infrastructure and applications for availability, capacity, and performance across Azure cloud and on-premises environments
- Escalate system unavailability, alarms, and status messages to system owners and IT teams and initiate defined remediation steps
- Perform daily monitoring checklist activities and maintain monitoring views, dashboards, and operational reports for different user groups
- Support process improvement, documentation, and coordination with cross-functional IT teams to strengthen IT operations
- Assist with scripting and automation of system checks across production, staging, and other environments
- Support migration activities and onboarding of new systems into IT operations monitoring
The team
In the IT Operations Centre, we monitor the IT infrastructure systems and services of Deloitte DE. We use various monitoring tools to cover the levels of cloud, data centre, LAN, WAN, servers and storage systems through to applications in end-end monitoring.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- Postgraduate degree in Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a similar field; or completed apprenticeship with practical experience in Information Technology
- 2-4 years of experience in Information Technology operations, infrastructure support, or systems monitoring
- Experience monitoring infrastructure and applications across cloud and on-premises environments
