Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – Inventory Control, Consumption Analysis & MIS Full Time

Job Purpose

The role is responsible for monitoring inventory and consumption patterns, identifying process gaps, preparing management MIS, and supporting the development and implementation of inventory policies and automated inventory systems. The position requires strong analytical ability, a proactive mindset, and the capability to flag deviations, inefficiencies, and control leakage.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory and consumption trends and highlight major deviations.
• Prepare MIS for management with key insights, exceptions, and action points.
• Identify control leakage, stock variances, shortages, excesses, and ageing inventory.
• Support implementation of inventory policies and control frameworks.
• Coordinate with relevant teams for stock reconciliation and issue resolution.
• Assist in improving inventory visibility, reporting, and process efficiency.
• Escalate unusual movements, risks, or gaps to management on a timely basis.
• Support automation and system improvement initiatives for inventory reporting.

Required Skills

• Chartered Accountant with 2+ Yrs of PQE.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of inventory accounting, consumption analysis, and internal controls.
• Strong command over MIS preparation and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience working on large databases (Iarge number of SKU/Inventory).
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Exposure to tools such as Hyparien and Metabase.
• Experience in building reports, dashboards, and automated inventory monitoring systems.
