Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate books of accounts and general ledger
Handle end-to-end accounting including journal entries and adjustments
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Manage accounts payable and receivable cycles
Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements
Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and related workings
Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax audits)
Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost controls
Coordinate with banks, consultants, and external stakeholders
Identify process improvements and ensure strong internal controls
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent
3+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax basics)
Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic analysis)
Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP)
Good understanding of financial reporting and compliance
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Good communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Experience in handling audits independently
Exposure to multi-entity or international transactions
Knowledge of financial planning and MIS reporting
Experience with ERP systems
