Role Description
We are seeking a Freight Broker for a full-time, remote position. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing relationships with clients and carriers, negotiating shipping rates, coordinating freight shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries. Additional responsibilities include identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining accurate records of transactions, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Strong customer service and communication are essential to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage operations
- Proven skills in Customer Service and Account Management
- Experience with Dispatching and coordinating freight shipments
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Proficiency in transportation management software is a plus
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus
