Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jr Cybersecurity Analyst role based in Bengaluru. The Jr Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor security events and alerts, perform initial triage, and escalate potential incidents according to established procedures. The role includes assisting in vulnerability assessments, basic malware analysis, and routine security checks across applications, networks, and endpoints. The analyst will support senior team members in implementing security controls, documenting findings, and maintaining incident response logs and reports. Day-to-day tasks also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, updating knowledge of emerging threats, and contributing to continuous improvement of security processes and documentation.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity concepts with the ability to apply analytical skills to identify, investigate, and document security events.
• Basic knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and common network protocols.
• Beginning-level understanding of Application Security principles, including common vulnerabilities and secure development practices.
• Exposure to Malware Analysis techniques or tools and an interest in learning how to analyze and interpret malicious activity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, log analysis, and ticketing systems is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent entry-level security certifications) are an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively within a team, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
