Job Title: Medical Executive Assistant to the CEO
Location: Smiles Institute of Gastroenterology
Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and patient-focused Medical Executive Assistant to the CEO of Smiles Hospital who can support him across Operation Theatre (OT), Outpatient Department (OPD), wards, and satellite clinics. The role involves coordinating patient care, facilitating communication between patients and the medical team, and ensuring seamless clinical operations across locations. Only male candidates can apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the consultant during OPD consultations, ward rounds, and OT schedules.
• Coordinate with patients and their families regarding appointments, admissions, investigations, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients across the ward, OPD, and satellite clinics.
• Ensure smooth scheduling and coordination of surgeries, procedures, and clinical consultations.
• Liaise with nursing staff, administrative teams, diagnostic departments, and other healthcare professionals for patient care coordination.
• Follow up with patients regarding treatment plans, investigations, post-procedure care, and follow-up visits.
Qualifications
• MBBS / BAMS / BHMS
• Freshers and candidates with relevant clinical coordination experience may apply.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Candidates should be proficient in using AI tools and should have undergone training.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Good organizational and patient management skills.
• Basic understanding of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and hospital operations.
• Proficiency in documentation and record management.
• Empathetic, professional, and patient-centric approach.
Preferred Experience
• Experience in hospital operations, patient coordination, clinical assistance, or healthcare administration will be an added advantage.
