Summary Position Summary Finance Transformation Join our Finance Transformation practice to help Deloitte client service teams define and execute finance and Global Business Services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading teams and insights to support delivery in complex environments shaped by market uncertainty, technology change, and regulatory considerations. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we collaborate across teams to help transform the finance function and unlock value.
Position Summary
Level: Anaplan Senior Consultant
As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines, and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, while independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end Anaplan engagements, from solution architecture and requirements gathering through deployment and hypercare support
- Partner with client stakeholders and Deloitte leadership to align delivery with business objectives
- Oversee technical and functional execution across project phases
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, effective Anaplan solutions
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Support testing activities, including user acceptance testing, and ensure quality across deliverables
- Develop project documentation, training materials, and administration guides
- Mentor consultants and analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and adoption of leading practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Anaplan delivery methodologies and governance standards

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong analytical skills and business acumen to join us in delivering innovative solutions and supporting clients in their transformation journey.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or equivalent from a recognized university (required)
- Master’s degree (preferred)
Required Skills And Experience
- 5–12 years of hands-on experience in Anaplan model building, solution architecture, data modeling, and data integration
- Proven experience leading large-scale Anaplan implementations, including solution design, development, deployment, and hypercare
- Expertise in translating complex business requirements into scalable, multidimensional Anaplan models
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders, managing client expectations, and providing strategic guidance
- Expertise in data modeling and integrating Anaplan with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday using native capabilities, APIs, and/or middleware tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and drive quality across deliverables
- Experience conducting user acceptance testing and preparing project documentation, training materials, and administration guides
- Ability to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
- Strong focus on continuous improvement and adoption of leading practices in Anaplan delivery
- Ability to mentor and upskill junior Anaplan model builders and foster knowledge sharing across teams
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative solution development
- Experience supporting Anaplan Center of Excellence initiatives, including governance, security, model standards, and lifecycle management
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and business users

- Experience architecting Anaplan solutions for specific planning processes such as financial planning, workforce planning, and S&OP
- Strong understanding of planning processes across finance, supply chain, and other business functions
- Experience in practice development, pre-sales, or client advisory roles
- Knowledge of additional Anaplan product offerings such as PlanIQ, Optimizer, Workflow, and Anaplan XL, and their application within Connected Planning solutions
