The Digital Marketing Executive plays a key role within the global events team, leading digital campaigns that drive attendee recruitment, growth, and engagement across our event portfolio.
This role suits a digital marketing professional who pairs creative thinking with strong data-driven acumen. Reporting into VP global events marketing, you will deliver multi-channel campaigns—using CRM platforms, email marketing, and social tools—to engage senior decision-makers and industry professionals across the technology sector worldwide.
This position is critical to the business: effective digital marketing underpins event attendance, ensures sponsor deliverables are met, and increases the overall value and impact of our event products.
Responsibility
Drive global attendee acquisition for events through integrated multi-channel campaigns, including automated email journeys, LinkedIn and paid social, retargeting, and CRM-led outreach.
Partner with regional Events and Marketing stakeholders to align campaign strategy, messaging, and audience segmentation—ensuring local relevance while maintaining a consistent global approach for single-sponsor events.
Help own and optimise event data and audience management across CRM and marketing platforms, tracking engagement and conversion metrics and applying insights to continuously improve performance.
Develop and maintain high-quality digital marketing assets (event pages, websites, promotional graphics, social content, and digital ads) to increase visibility, strengthen brand consistency, and improve conversion rates.
Implement pre-event retention and attendance-boosting communications, including confirmations, reminders, and behavioural nudges, to increase onsite attendance and enhance the attendee experience.
Analyse and report campaign performance to the Marketing Director and Single-Sponsor Events leadership, providing actionable insights to optimise ongoing and future global campaigns and support wider project outcomes.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within events, B2B, or demand-generation marketing.
Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and digital marketing platforms, with hands-on experience in Cvent and Adestra preferred.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, bringing a proactive, “get-things-done” mindset and a willingness to take ownership.
Curious and adaptable, eager to learn, test new ideas, and apply insights to improve marketing performance.
