Role Description The Brand Guide Studio Search Engine Optimization Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role is responsible for planning and executing SEO strategies that align with brand guidelines and enhance online visibility across search engines. Day-to-day tasks include conducting keyword research, optimizing on-page elements, improving site structure, monitoring rankings, and analyzing website performance through analytics tools. The role involves collaborating with designers, developers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded in brand assets and web pages. The executive will also monitor competitors, prepare performance reports, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend continuous improvements to support traffic growth and user engagement.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link-building best practices.
• Experience using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research tools, and ranking trackers).
• Understanding of user experience principles, website usability, and how UX impacts search performance and brand perception.
• Ability to collaborate with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO recommendations and maintain brand consistency.
• Good analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an SEO, digital marketing, or web optimization role; experience with brand-focused projects is an advantage.
• Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced on-site environment in Kolkata.
