Job Purpose: This role is responsible for optimizing the logistics process, specifically focusing on reducing the turnaround time of trucks during unloading to boost operational efficiency. This role will manage coal quality preservation by conducting regular inspections for fire hazards and managing protective measures against environmental factors. This role is also pivotal for supervising the handling and storage of coal, ensuring proper stacking practices, and coordinating coal analysis for maintaining blending ratios.

Responsibilities

• To maintain the Coal Handling Plants with high efficiency and reliability in all respect.
• Continuous, effective and safe maintenance of the CHP including Crusher House.
• Ensure timely availability of consumables, spares, raw materials.
• Ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain high standards in Housekeeping and create safe working environment.
• Ensuring effective manpower deployment and performance improvement through feedback, motivation, training and guidance/mentoring to team member
• Ensure Proper maint. Of Coal Handling Plant equipment.
• Timely availability of spares and consumables at optimum cost
• Effective manpower deployment and guidance to team members.
• Maintaining of Records.
• Seasonal plan preparation & Implementation.
• Implement best practises
• Check the defects and follow up work order.
• Handle different emergencies of Coal Handling Plant.
• Co-ordinate with different department to smooth running of the plant.
• Maintain high standards of safety for the people and equipment.
• Maintain high standards of Housekeeping and create safe working environment.

Qualifications

• With Degree : 6-8 Years
• With Diploma: 8-10 Year
• With PG : 4-6 Year
• BE / Diploma in Mech.
