Procurement Specialist (Healthcare Disposable Products Only) Full Time

Role Description The Procurement Specialist (Healthcare Products Only) is a full-time remote role responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and purchasing healthcare products in line with company and client requirements. The role involves identifying reliable suppliers, issuing and tracking purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of products at competitive prices while maintaining agreed quality standards. The specialist will conduct supplier evaluations, support contract negotiations, and monitor vendor performance to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply. Day-to-day activities include analyzing pricing and market trends, maintaining accurate procurement records, coordinating with internal stakeholders such as operations, finance, and project teams, and resolving order discrepancies or supply issues. The role also includes contributing to process improvements, supporting compliance with relevant regulations and policies, and preparing regular reports on procurement activities and cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications

• Strong procurement expertise, with hands-on experience in managing end-to-end Procurement activities for healthcare products.
• Proficiency in creating, managing, and tracking Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
• Experience in Supplier Evaluation, including assessing quality, reliability, and performance of healthcare product vendors.
• Demonstrated capability in Contract Negotiation to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels.
• Solid Analytical Skills for comparing quotations, analyzing market trends, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Familiarity with healthcare product categories, regulatory considerations, and quality standards is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional, and multicultural environment with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with procurement or ERP tools, and intermediate skills in spreadsheets and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in healthcare procurement, hospital supply chain, or medical products sourcing is an advantage.
