About FinAGG Technologies
FinAGG is a Noida-headquartered fintech building India’s most comprehensive MSME credit intelligence and lending infrastructure. Backed by SIDBI, Prime Venture Partners, BLinC Invest, BlueOrchard, and Tata Capital, we have disbursed over ₹5,200 Crore to 85,000+ MSMEs across 6,200+ pin codes — with sub-0.6% delinquency.
Our integrated stack spans FameScore / FinAGG.ai (an RBI-authorised credit intelligence platform and Technology Service Provider), FinAGG Services (a Lending Service Provider under RBI Digital Lending Guidelines), and QCF Capital (an NBFC-ND). We work with anchor brands including Whirlpool, Birla Opus, HUL, and others to finance their dealer and distributor ecosystems.
Role Overview
The Regional Collection Manager – Chennai will own end-to-end collections performance across the South India region. This is a high-ownership role that sits at the intersection of field operations, risk management, and borrower relationships. You will be responsible for maintaining portfolio health, driving early-stage resolution, managing field agents and legal/recovery channels, and ensuring compliance with RBI Digital Lending and FLDG norms.
You will work closely with the Head of Risk & Collections, regional sales leaders, and our NBFC/bank lending partners to maintain FinAGG’s track record of best-in-class delinquency metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Monitoring & Delinquency Management
• Own the South India portfolio’s DPD (Days Past Due) buckets — X, 30, 60, 90+ — and drive bucket-wise resolution strategies.
• Proactively identify stress signals and initiate pre-delinquency interventions in the 0–30 DPD window.
• Work with the risk team at HO to flag early-warning signals on dealer/distributor accounts using FameScore data.
• Track and report weekly on collection efficiency, resolution rates, rollovers, and write-off trends.
Field Collections & Agency Management
• Build and manage a network of field collection executives and empanelled recovery agencies across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka.
• Set daily/weekly targets for field agents, conduct field visits for critical accounts, and ensure adequate coverage across pin codes.
• Monitor agency performance, compliance with code of conduct, and adherence to RBI Fair Practices Code.
• Lead ground-level resolution on hard-bucket (60–180 DPD) accounts through negotiated settlements and restructuring within approved policy.
Legal & SARFAESI / Recovery Actions
• Coordinate with empanelled legal counsel for initiation of arbitration, SARFAESI, Lok Adalat, and NI Act proceedings.
• Maintain tracker on legal cases — filing status, hearing dates, recovery outcomes.
• Liaise with borrowers, guarantors, and co-applicants for out-of-court settlement wherever viable.
Borrower Communication & Relationship Management
• Lead borrower engagement for mid-to-large ticket MSME accounts, maintaining professional and empathetic collections conduct.
• Coordinate with anchor brand (dealer principal / distributor) networks to leverage channel relationships in difficult recovery situations.
• Ensure all collections communication is RBI-compliant, documented, and audit-ready.
Reporting & Cross-functional Coordination
• Submit weekly and monthly collection MIS to the Head of Risk & Collections and to lending partners (bank / NBFC co-lenders) as required.
• Participate in monthly portfolio review calls with HDFC Bank, Jana SFB, and QCF Capital teams.
• Work with the credit and underwriting team to provide field-level feedback for policy refinement.
• Support LSP audit and regulatory compliance requirements as needed.
Candidate Profile
Must-Have Experience
• 5–10 years of collections experience in MSME / SME / business lending, supply chain finance, or dealer finance.
• Prior experience managing field teams and recovery agencies across South India markets.
• Demonstrated track record of maintaining portfolio delinquency below target thresholds.
• Working knowledge of RBI Digital Lending Guidelines, FLDG structures, and Fair Practices Code.
• Exposure to legal recovery mechanisms: SARFAESI, arbitration, NI Act, Lok Adalat.
Good to Have
• Prior experience with an NBFC, fintech lender, or bank DSA / LSP in a collections leadership role.
• Familiarity with anchor-distributor / dealer finance models (FMCG, consumer durables, building materials).
• Comfort with collection management software or LMS platforms.
• Existing network with recovery agencies and legal firms in Chennai / South India.
Skills & Attributes
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Data-driven mindset — comfortable with DPD analysis, bucket-movement reports, and collection MIS.
• High ownership orientation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in Tamil (mandatory); working knowledge of Telugu or Kannada is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the South India region.
Why FinAGG
• Mission-led work: directly improving credit access and financial resilience of India’s 63 million MSMEs.
• Lean, high-ownership team: report directly to senior leadership; decisions are fast, impact is visible.
• Cutting-edge tech stack: leverage FameScore AI-driven credit intelligence and real-time DPD dashboards in your collections work.
• Institutional backing: investors include SIDBI, Tata Capital, Prime Venture Partners, and BlueOrchard — with an active fundraising trajectory.
• Competitive CTC with performance-linked variable pay.
