Role Description

The Head of Sales (Marketing) is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for leading and growing D Media’s client portfolio and revenue. This role oversees the end-to-end sales cycle, including prospecting, pitching integrated marketing solutions, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with brands and agencies. The Head of Sales (Marketing) will develop and implement sales strategies aligned with D Media’s service offerings, working closely with account management, creative, production, and digital teams to ensure seamless delivery and high client satisfaction. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and coaching the sales team, setting targets, monitoring pipeline health, analyzing performance metrics, and identifying new business opportunities across categories. The role also requires regular market and competitor analysis, participation in client meetings and presentations, and representation of D Media at industry events to build relationships and generate leads.

Qualifications

• Strong 10-15 years of experience in Sales and Sales Management skills, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in marketing, digital, or agency environments.
• Experience in Account Management, including client relationship building, retention, upselling, and cross-selling integrated marketing services.
• Demonstrated Team Management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and creating a collaborative, high-performance sales culture.
• Advanced Analytical Skills to forecast pipeline, interpret sales data, track KPIs, and convert insights into actionable strategies.
• Experience selling creative, digital, or media solutions (e.g., social media, influencer marketing, events, branding, production) is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior decision-makers and translate business needs into solutions.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment, with strong ownership, resilience, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; a master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
