We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Content & Social Media Coordinator to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for crafting compelling content across multiple platforms and managing our social media presence to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, and support marketing goals. This is a full-time position located in Chennai, India.

Responsibilities

• Social media strategy execution — Support the development and execution of platform‑specific social media strategies that align with overall marketing and business objectives.
• Social listening and competitive monitoring — Monitor social channels for audience engagement opportunities, trending topics, and competitor activity to inform content and optimization decisions.
• Performance tracking and reporting — Measure social media performance (reach, engagement, conversions), analyze results, and translate data into actionable insights and recommendations. Stay current with algorithm changes, new platform features, content formats, and best practices; proactively recommend tests or pilots.
• Cross‑functional execution — Coordinate with PR, demand gen, product marketing, and sales teams to align social content with broader communications and pipeline objectives.
• Visual content creation — Produce compelling, visually driven content across platforms, including static graphics, infographics, carousels, and short‑form video. Create and optimize visual assets, including video, using tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva.
• Creative ideation and concepting — Contribute ideas and concepts for innovative, engaging content that aligns with marketing goals, brand guidelines, and emerging trends.
• Community management — Respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages in a timely, professional manner; escalate issues or opportunities to appropriate internal teams.
• Brand voice and consistency — Ensure all social and visual content aligns with Kaleris brand guidelines, tone, and messaging standards.
• Content repurposing — Adapt long‑form assets (blogs, white papers, webinars, case studies) into digestible, platform‑specific social content.
• Event and campaign amplification — Support promotional efforts for conferences, webinars, product launches, and announcements before, during, and after events.
• AI-enabled content support — Use AI-assisted tools to help brainstorm content ideas, improve efficiency, support copy development, summarize long-form content, and identify new ways to enhance social media and content performance, while ensuring all final content aligns with brand standards and is reviewed for accuracy and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level role; 0–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, social media, content creation, or a related area preferred.
• Highly motivated individual, who accepts challenges, continually innovates, and learns
• Good in analytical and logical reasoning
• Strong written communication skills, ability to plan work, and report progress against plan
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
