Role Objective

The Warehouse Head will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products. This role involves managing the logistics team, optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The Warehouse Head will work closely with production, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure that logistics and warehouse operations align with the

company’s operational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

·      Oversee and manage all logistics and warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution.

·      Manage and mentor the warehouse team, including supervisors, warehouse staff, and logistics coordinators.

·      Ensure that materials and products are stored and handled properly to maintain quality and prevent damage.

·      Coordinate with production and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.

·      Optimize warehouse layout and processes to maximize efficiency and storage capacity.

·      Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking.

·      Ensure timely and accurate deliveries of products to customers and other locations.

·      Implement and maintain safety standards within the warehouse operations.

·      Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring cost- effectiveness.

·      Monitor and analyze warehouse metrics to identify areas for improvement.

·      Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

·      Collaborate with supply chain, production, and procurement teams to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.”

Skill Requirements

·      Strong leadership and team management skills.

·      In-depth knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, and supply chain principles.

·      Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics software.

·      Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·      Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·      Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.

·      Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
