Role Description This is a full-time, on-site LogicMonitor Implementation Engineer role based in Coimbatore. The Implementation Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying LogicMonitor monitoring solutions for clients, including onboarding new environments, setting up data sources, dashboards, alerts, and integrations. The role involves collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams to understand infrastructure, monitoring requirements, and SLAs, and then translating them into scalable monitoring configurations. The engineer will troubleshoot implementation issues, optimize performance and alerting thresholds, and document configurations, runbooks, and best practices. Day-to-day work includes environment discovery, custom script or collector tuning, conducting implementation workshops or training sessions, and providing post-implementation support to ensure smooth adoption.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with LogicMonitor implementation, including configuration of collectors, data sources, dashboards, alert rules, and integrations.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure concepts such as servers, networks, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), databases, and applications.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, or APM tools (e.g., LogicMonitor, Datadog, SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios) and related best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for custom monitoring, integrations, or configuration automation.
• Ability to gather requirements, perform environment discovery, and translate technical needs into monitoring architectures and implementation plans.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose implementation, performance, and alerting issues across complex environments.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience creating technical documentation, configuration guides, and user training materials for monitoring solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple client implementations, and deliver within agreed timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
