About the Role

We are looking for a visionary technical leader to drive the evolution of enterprise software platforms in an increasingly AI-enabled development landscape. This position will focus on establishing scalable architectural frameworks, modernization strategies, and engineering standards that support both human-led and automated software delivery.

The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in enterprise architecture, platform transformation, and emerging AI-driven development practices. This role requires balancing innovation, governance, and operational excellence while shaping the future direction of software engineering within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Modernization

Define and implement long-term technology roadmaps for complex enterprise systems.

Lead modernization initiatives that transition legacy applications into scalable, maintainable, and service-oriented architectures.

Establish architectural principles, design standards, and integration strategies across platforms.

Drive system simplification efforts through modularization, domain-driven design, and standardized interfaces.

Develop migration frameworks that enable seamless coexistence of legacy and modern technologies during transformation programs.

AI-Enabled Engineering Frameworks

Design technical foundations that support the safe adoption of AI-assisted software development practices.

Establish governance models, execution guidelines, and operational controls for automated engineering workflows.

Build standardized interfaces and reusable services that improve collaboration between development teams and intelligent automation systems.

Promote engineering practices that improve transparency, traceability, and consistency across development processes.

Evaluate and implement technologies that enhance productivity through intelligent automation.

Architecture Governance & Engineering Excellence

Define review processes and quality controls for architectural decisions and software changes.

Establish standards focused on security, scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Implement validation and testing strategies that reduce risk while accelerating platform evolution.

Monitor architecture effectiveness through measurable engineering and operational metrics.

Continuously improve development practices to support reliability and long-term sustainability.

Technical Leadership

Act as a senior advisor on technology strategy and architecture decisions.

Mentor architects, engineering managers, and development teams on modern software design principles.

Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align technical investments with organizational goals.

Guide innovation initiatives while ensuring operational stability and delivery excellence.

Influence enterprise-wide technology direction and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Significant experience in software architecture, platform engineering, or enterprise technology leadership roles.

Proven track record of modernizing large-scale applications and addressing complex technical challenges.

Strong expertise in modern development technologies, including TypeScript, Node.js, and .NET ecosystems.

Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, cloud-native architectures, and integration methodologies.

Experience with AI-assisted development tools, automation platforms, or emerging intelligent engineering technologies.

Demonstrated ability to build scalable, maintainable, and production-ready software systems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with geographically distributed engineering teams.

Exposure to large-scale technology transformation or digital modernization initiatives.

Knowledge of platform engineering, developer experience, and internal tooling strategies.

Experience implementing governance, automation, and operational excellence frameworks.

Strong ability to operate effectively in dynamic and rapidly evolving environments.
